that still catches me off guard, and I tend to say truthful stuff that I wish I could have stopped before I blab. it seems like the MS is changing me and the way I talk to others!

I try say something different like, Better than I thought, bout half or could be better or like $2.00, ha ha. But most of the time I say, "Glad to be upright" "I try to keep it simple"

When ask no matter how I'm feeling I say surviving. That catches people off guard and the ones who really want to know how I'm doing will stop and ask no really how are you doing. Another friend always says ever day above ground is a good day.

I usually struggle to answer this question as of late. I had a relapse last month that impacted feeling in my legs, and dexterity in my hand. I was walking with a cane and people of course asked me how I was doing / what happened, and I just said I hurt my back. I don't really care to go into detail about what was really going on. My parents (being naturally concerned) ask me all the time how I'm feeling...and it's easiest just for me to say "Fine...".

That's exactly what I say I'm surviving. I don't know how else to respond that I'm hanging in there. It's hard to answer some days because I hurt and don't know how to explain it to them so I don't try.
