Make a large donation to St. Jude's Hospital for all children fighting their battles and then bank the rest. The amount of peace of mind financial security a million dollars would give would be wonderful. Oh to never worry about money or being a burden on my family! It's nice to dream. Now I'm off to buy a winning lottery ticket.
Fully research where is the best clinic in the world to have a stem cell transplant and set it all up. I'd also help the obvious family/friends. I'd also do something for those who've impacted my life at various points whether they knew it then or not, or even if they've long forgotten about me.
@A MyMSTeam Member Call my attorney first. I'd keep the win a secret and help others anonymously. Giving is always better than receiving.
First, I would thank God for the blessing. Then, tithe. And then, not necessarily in this order, pay off my house, my car, set up college funds for both my kids, settle ALL of my bills, and then with what's left over save half, and spend the other half of what's left for family vacations, Christmas, birthday parties, spend some on myself (guilt free), and donate some to finding a cure for MS and other charities.
After I come to, Thank GOD call my lawyer and do something that not only benefits me.
