I have had this unbelievable pain in the right side of my face since Friday night.....I have tri d all kinds of pain medication that you can buy over the counter.
Is there anything else that I can do to relieve the pain??? Or anyone know what this is?

It could be Trigeminal neuralgia I had that. If it is that. It's an unbearable sharp shooting pain If it is. No pain med can help it. I had to have a certain med and have a nerve tied behind my neck. I hope that helps. I neede to see a Nero surgeon

Look into both Trigeminal Neuralgia Type 1 and Type 2 to see if you have the same symptoms.
I have post-herpetic trigeminal neuralgia and it presents like Type 2. Gabapentin didn't work but codeine and Norco do.
You should see your doctor ASAP as the pain can get really out of control, really fast. I got no help for the pain for a year and a half and it was torture at times.

I agree with @A MyMSTeam Member sounds like Trigrminal Neuralgia, there is nothing for it. You can try ibuprofen based medicine for pain relief.

I used to go to my dentist when I had it and complain about shooting tooth pain as I didn't know what it was and she would do numerous X-rays and tell me there was nothing she could see.

I hope the responses give you some solace.

See your doctor. There is a possibility that this may be trigeminal neuralgia, which does require appropriate treatment/pain management

I didn't realize there was two types....I think type 2 is what I've had going on. Constant dull pain in my cheeks.
