I took Avonex for five years...2005 to 2010. I took it simultaneously with Copaxone. Only problems I experienced were the flu-like side effects and anxiety over the injection itself. I dealt with the former by taking Motrin an hour before and an hour after the shot. I had a whole ritual for the latter. Go to my bedroom by myself and put in one of the music channels. The ibuprofen before and after lessened the flu-like side effects for me. Ironically, the last three years, I didn't have any side effects. Wish you all the best @A MyMSTeam Member

@A MyMSTeam Member thats exactly what i do i take a pain pill before i do it and relax eith music and have flu like syptoms
