I was diagnosed with Relapse remitting M.S 4 years ago. After doing some researching I realized the only way I could try to cure myself of M.S was to figure out what was causing it.

Be very careful with treating Lyme complex, when I found out I had this I started natural treatment with herbs and diet and it flared the hell out of my M.S symptoms. It made me realize this wasn't going to be easy but it also confirmed to me exactly what was causing my symptoms . If we in the M.S community educating ourselves on these issues and had proper testing done and than raised awareness we could force the medical community to develop safe, effective treatment options .
Also I'm not a doctor nor am I an expert on any of this stuff , I'm just a sick person trying to get well and sharing the info I have found with others.
I was tested for Lyme disease around 1994-5 when I was severely anemic. The anemia turned out to be fibroids, but it started me thinking about things I'd experienced before being diagnosed with MS in 2006. I remember when I was pregnant with my daughter in 1982, I had a really bad cavity. Because I was pregnant, they couldn't give me drugs so they could pull the tooth, so I had a root canal. Worst dental experience of my life!!
I recently read that root canals are BAD! They leave behind bacteria that can travel to other parts of the body and cause inflammation, resulting in cancer, cardiovascular diseases, and DISEASES RELATED TO THE BRAIN, and that's just a short list. After that first root canal, I started having other problems, like the fibroids, then the MS symptoms started. I had a second one last year; even with the MS treatments, my symptoms haven't improved. I may look into having my root canals removed to see if that makes any difference in the MS symptoms.
I forgot to add that Lyme disease presents all of the same symptoms that M.S does , I'm hopeful I'll be able too regain my health since finding this stuff out. Im looking into treatment options now for Lyme and heavy metal toxins
Yes I was diagnosed and successfully treated for Mono back in 1967. I seem to remember that I had a high white cell count of around 18,000 with Mono. I did smoke at the time.
@A MyMSTeam Member are you certain it was mono you caught ? Have you been tested by an accurate lab for Lyme disease ? Heavy metal toxin exposure (amalgam fillings , cigarettes, vaccinations or flu shots )?
