I use to but I will never ever take Symbalta or lyrica again.Totaly mess my brain

My neuro prescribed it saying it is useful for peripheral neuropathy but I’ve seen no improvement.

Hi, I found this group because I was googling MS & Cymbalta. The replies are all over the place so I guess I’ll wait and see. I start taking it today. Fingers crossed!

I too notice no difference in ms symptoms. Basically what I notice is weight gain!! I’m wearing myself off of it!!

My primary had written Cymbalta for pain and I didn’t feel any physical difference. If anything, it made me mentally feel an “I don’t care” attitude. I suppose feeling less stressed can be good but not to that extent. I was so relieved when my neuro chuckled and said I wasn’t crazy for feeling no different and said he doesn’t know why doctors write it for nerve pain because there’s so many other options. I did feel like my primary thought maybe I was just depressed even though I said I wasn’t, just that I was upset at times because of limitations that no pill is going to change that mental aspect for.
