I bought a stationary bike.... sat it by a window in my bedroom so when I get on it to go for a ride, I pull the blind down so I feel like I'm outside.....
I got a dog, so even when I feel like becoming a couch slug, he stares at me until I get up. I don't do my pt enough, but I do get out and walk the dog. When I am really tired, I let him run around on the deck for exercise, but that doesn't hold him for long, so back to walking I go. It's definitely work, but certainly good motivation!
Good point! I'll make a mental pic of my daughters in my mind and remind myself they still need their mom.
I did a stint at a neuro-rehab center 2x/week for 10 weeks 2 yrs ago. I'm still working off what I was taught there, just modified or eliminated exercises as limitations happened. This was over 2 yrs ago.
Determination.....little, often and regular exercise to start with. Don't set targets, just realistic maximums. Every time you reach a maximum, or get close to a maximum it is a victory over MS. Little victories add up to a big win! Motivation will come as your body adjusts to small exercise, and your mind adjusts with the small victories from a can't, to a can do! I keep going because I have told you all, and can't give up when the world is watching! Good luck, keep us updated 💪❤️
