I have been told for 20 years (since I been 14) that I have had MS. I do have the symptoms an the brain lesions an then I was told that a year ago I had 2 different spinal results. 98 was postive an a year ago was negative an I get the call 2 days ago that both spinal's were negtive. Is this even possible?
My spinal puncture (Frankenstein procedure) was inconclusive. It was the lesions in the MRI that resulted in the diagnosis.
I have been tolld some forms of MS are so mild you have very mild symptoms sporadically.
Some Neuros require it some don't My first one did
The Dr's have told me over the years that my ms has progressed. So I keep getting new lesions just negative spinal taps.
Yes about 10 to 20 percent of people don't have oligoclonal bands
