Does anyone have any bladder problems or itching ankles at times
@A MyMSTeam Member I did. The therapist suggested drinking 6-8 oz of fluid at a time, not sipping. Seems the bladder works better full or empty.
I constantly get water infections due to me not emptying fully, this is due to a lesion on my spine my neurologist said x
I started having problems with my bladder and wasn't able to hold my pee very well. I was not happy about that at all. My dr told me a few things to try, such as quitting caffeine and losing weight. I have done both and am happy to say I no longer have those issues. Hope this will help. Good luck darling xxx
Yes, another person just asked about severe itching so I'll copy and paste my response here in case it's helpful. This type of itching is no joke - it's seriously all consuming - and the one time in my life i felt I just couldn't live this way. Luckily it subsided for me after almost a year. Anyways, here's my response to his question in case it's helpful to anyone suffering with horrible itching:

Yes! This was absolutely horrendous for about a year for me. I'm still not sure exactly what it was, but changing some things helped drastically - I'll share those here in case that's helpful to you or others.....
My integrative medicine DR (who also has MS) gave me some really great advice on this. I changed a lot, including doing a pretty intense dietary detox (elimination diet) along with acupuncture targeted toward detoxing. I also started using CBD oil which really (as in I could visibly see it) helped with overall reduction of inflammation and began using the MITO food plan to eat (what she recommends for MS). https://drmariamaricich.com/clients/959/documen...
I found some comfort with calmoseptine ointment and emuaid lotions. No other OTC products helped - and I seriously tried everything out there! I switched all of my undergarments to 100% organic unbleached cotton (cottonique, fishers finery, etc.), and started wearing a lot of coolibar and cuddl duds clothes that soothed my skin and also kept me comfortable regardless of temperature. Also, lots of companies now make rashguard material clothing - it's like a slightly heavier swimsuit material. I got a lot of those shirts and some dresses too - and I got them 2-3 sizes larger than I wear because they are made to be worn tight and I wanted them loose and flowing. I also took detox baths with epsom salts. I kept my fingernails cut very short so I could reduce the damage from uncontrollable itching. FYI, in case it's helpful I was on copaxone at the time. The itching persevered when I was switched to Tecfidera so I don't think it was the DMT causing it - I think it was mostly due to food sensitivities that all came back negative on allergy panel but that caused me much distress when I added them back into my diet after doing the elimination diet. For me, I learned I have to be really careful with excessive gluten (a little each day is fine), sundried tomatoes, mushrooms, and roasted red peppers. Strangely I'm just fine with fresh tomatoes and bell peppers....it's something about the processing that seems to be the main irritant.
Good luck figuring out what's causing it for you! I know just how horrible it is! If you have other questions about it or want to talk about elimination diet or anything else I mentioned, I'm here! XX
Tough to say if it's MS or just being a middle-aged guy with the usual prostate issues. Not too bad, though. Sometimes I sleep the whole night and sometimes I'm up every 3 hours. I can't assign a definite causal factor (other than the obvious of avoiding coffee after around 7:00 PM).
I asked my Dr and she said, "There's no way to know for sure. You just hit the jackpot, that's all."
