I read online that MS is a sister to cancer. Anybody else knew that? Also that before these drugs for MS came out that drs would use chemotherapy to treat it 😮

The research shows that folks with MS are less likely to develop cancer with few slightly elevated cancer risks from certain dmds that are not statistically significant and need further research to prove. Both MS and cancer are caused by variations in our immune system so they are related somewhat.

From what my integrative Dr has shared, they are related. Inflammation is the root of all auto-immune disorders, so that makes sense. A lot of the treatments are similar, and I've taken a few health classes at Stanford where there have been a lot of MS and cancer folks, so there's likely some connection. Another DR told me I'm now much more susceptible to developing cancers since I have MS. To me that also makes sense since we have compromised immune systems. Hard to know what's the real truth, but when I see the same thing across many different disciplines in my research, it's something I believe now.

Well my people's, my Family, I've always said its just another form of cancer; not saying it is: just saying , if you let any foreign enemy in and don't fight ; well it will Will Win and Take Over . that's all. Fight🐆💝💞🙏.

I was checking MS symptoms and Caine across an article about MS and cancer and that’s when I read about the connection. I was looking for something else and found something totally different. I know there’s so much information both truth and lies and I try to double check the information but that particular article grabbed my attention. I’m going to see if I can find it again and post it. There’s so much FAKE NEWS out there that these days you can’t just double check but triple check. I didn’t mean to offend anyone or scare anyone, I was just seeing if anyone else heard such thing.

Never heard it was a "sister to cancer". Wouln't surprise me. A friend received chemo in the hospital after a bad exacerbation. I just got together with my cousin who has cancer and they are using a drug that is very similar to "Ocrevus" and found articles about both cancer and MS are being treated the same.
