Lately I've been having trouble getting a restful night sleep. Tossing turning, and up by 4am not by choice. I've tried melatonin to no avail. I don't know if it's MS related it not but does anyone have any good recommendations?

CBD with a little THC added in at night has been a godsend for me. My DR has ordered 9-10 hours of restorative sleep nightly and that was impossible for me before I started my CBD regimen. I take about 30mg daily of CBD and add about 15mg (a small piece of chocolate) of THC at night. Sleep like a baby! AMAZING! I won't go without it. Oh, and all my DRs approve. They just say not to smoke medicinal cannabis if on DMTs because it messes with their effectiveness. Hope you get some relief soon! XX

benedryl can help make you sleepy too. That said, even though I don't snore I ended up having sleep apnea and now have a CPAP … and I sleep through the night.

The only sleeping pill that works for me is Doxepin. It seems like a lot of pills are to get you to fall asleep, like melatonin or other prescription pills. My problem was never falling asleep, it is that I wake up very easily now and can't fall back to sleep. I take Doxepin, wear ear plugs, and make sure there isn't any light coming in. I feel like if I wake up, which I still do, I just roll over and can fall back to sleep. The only side effect for me is that I have a hard time waking up in the morning for work, so you can be drowsy in the am.I just drink my coffee and feel fine after the first hour. It It is so worth it for me to actually get a full night of sleep. Good Luck.
