I take cbd on gilenya and it really helps my mood/anxiety and sleep! ❤❤
@A MyMSTeam Member there are flavorless ones - and ones with yummy flavors, so if it works for you, know that you can find something easier to swallow next time! XX
I'm not on Gilenya but that was one treatment I was considering and my DR said it was ok with CBD products. What did your DR say? I've been helped tremendously by CBD. It took about a week and a half for me to really feel (and see- the swelling in my ankle from an old soccer injury completely disappeared!) the difference, but now I swear by it as it's drastically improved all aspects of my MS symptoms. I dabbled with it over the last 5 years here and there, but really got serious with a daily regimen of about 30mg after a severe case of optic neuritis in 2016. I sleep like a baby now (I do add in about 15mg THC at night for that in the form of a piece of chocolate - because I was advised that the THC and CBD in combination as they occur naturally work most effectively), and waking up pain free each morning has really impacted my ability to remain positive through this challenge. Of course the pain creeps in each day, but knowing I'll get that relief each night has enabled me to manage the tough days better.
I will say that now that it's becoming more widely available, it's really tough to know which products are best. I go to a wonderful dispensary wellness center where you can get free 1:1 sessions with a knowledgeable person who can go over all the options they have so you can get pointed in the right direction depending on your symptoms. If you can't do that, I've had some luck with products that I found on CBDoilreview.org If you decide to go that route, I hope you get the same relief I have found! XX
