A MyMSTeam Member asked a question 💭

Hi,I have been keen to try CBD oil to help with spasticity/rigidity/aches and pains etc.
The question is
What brands to use
How it should be administered
What doses should be used etc

If anyone has used CBD oil and has any insight, advice or tips that would be greatly appreciated .
Many thanks Collin

I use a vaporisor for cbd. it relaxes my legs better than any pill ive tried. and ive tried them all. it allows to relax in bed without spasms or clonus. changing position in bed, makes my legs stiffen, and disturbs my sleep. not anymore.

I would start by the low dose and build your way up as what I did till I found the right amount of drops that help with my pain takes the edge off. I drop drops under my tongue let it soak a min and swollow with water or drink I used the cbd oil from Holland and barratt but now I'm on the 5% one hope this helps I Been on it a while now there is the Charlotte Web site but it cost alot I think 🤔 but heard that's great stuff too take care =)

I heard that
Sativex has been approved in 28 countries. It is used to treat painful muscle spasms caused by MS and other conditions. It did not catch on in the U.S.
Maybe worth trying if pain is an issue.

I believe that as from 1/11/18 you may be able to access CBD via your GP,
