Hello everyone I am going to be changing medications as rebif has not worked for me I have it narrowed down to three tysabri gilenya and ocrevus. Can you please tell me about your own experience if you have tried any of these meds I know everyone is different but I just want to get some information from people who have actually tried it before I make my final choice. Thank you everyone.
Hi. I’ve been on Ocrevus for a year. (had two infusions). I’m very happy. Came off of Tysabri to go on Ocrevus. Prior to that I was on copaxone and before that Rebif. I was dxd 10 years ago. I’ve had little to no side effects. Very convenient. And my MRIs are stable as are my symptoms. Best of luck!
Hi there. I might be switching over to Ocrevus from Cooaxone. I have taken Tysabri for four years, it was great until i tested positive for JCV virus abd gas to stop. After tysabri i was placed on Gilenya for a few months, but i did not like all the posible side effects so i switched to Copaxone. Now i am tired of the shots and the dents in my arms and legs. So i guess we both are looking for help. 🤔
I was on Tysabre for five years with no complications. However, I very slowly digressed. I started Ocrevus and have gone through 3 rounds of infusions - one every six months. Again, I am slowly loosing stamina, energy, walking ability, etc. I use a walker at home & a scooter when out. I am now PPMS.
Oh. I should add. NO infections which I had on every other therapy
I was diagnosed in 2004 RRMS started with Avanex had my first relapse doctor changed me to copaxon then had to switch doctors and he told me about Gilyena have been on it for 6 years and I have been doing well on it pill form versus injection I choose pill any day.
