Anyone Know Of A Really Good Integrative Psychiatrist That Is Knowledgeable Of Ms & Accepts Insurance In The Charleston, SC Area?
I have medication resistant depression, anxiety, panic disorder. Life has just been passing me by for a long time. I’ve tried most antidepressants & combinations twice over throughout my adult life & either they didn’t work, I couldn’t tolerate them, they made me worse, or they semi helped, with side effect for a short while then pooped out. I'm sorry I can't help you with your question except to say that I recently got a great book on essential oils for emotional treatments since they have worked incredibly (surprisingly!) well for me on physical symptoms. Happy to do some research for you if that would be helpful to see which oils you could try. Hope you find what you're seeking soon! XX
Was just listening to a tape on essential oil. They say sweet or wild orange is good for depression. I don't know about this first hand, but just throwing this info out.
I suffered a bad depression in the 80's and was put on medication, but I think getting out and walking, keeping your thoughts positive was more helpful. Also suffered with panic attacks for about 10 years. It was like being let out of a cage when I quit having them.

@A MyMSTeam Member Found a few different recipes that I'll post here. Also, the company I use most makes a blend called Elevation that contains a lot of these oils. Happy to send you a small bottle to try if you'd like. Or, if you have access to oils, try making some of these blends! Let me know how they work for you please as I am curious. I'm still so skeptical of them, but every time we try them for something new they surprise us by working quite well!
