I am very recently dx'd and i have to be completely off any medications until the 28th for an MRI w/ contrast. They have gotten so bad i cant hardly walk/ let alone do anything while standing. Its been comparable to parkinsons or turrets. Anybody know of any type of home remedies to help? Much appreciated :)

Hi Becca
The panic in the early stages can be overwhelming, unfortunately theres no magic solution and the only thing you can do to help yourself is try and calm your central nervous system, i believe it's a form of PTSD we effectively have. 5 years ago i couldn't stand up for 6 months and couldn't put one foot in front of the other, didn't see a way back but over time and with old stresses gone I've recovered to 90%. Your situation may seem hopeless atm but just know from someone who was completely broken that you can recover to have a meaningful life again.

I've never heard of having to be off meds for an MRI with contrast. I haven't been off meds for all the MRIs I've have over the past 18 years. Just curious about that.

I'm with everyone else on the issue of stopping your meds - I have never done so and it makes zero sense to me! No wonder you've got tremors. Personally, I would go back on my meds, call the doc for a full explanation and make some serious decisions from there.

Now Ive heard detoxing off one med to start another, but not for an MR I. For tremors maybe try CBD.
