Anyone Taking Cymbalta?

A MyMSTeam Member asked a question 💭
Killeen, TX

New pcp prescribed cymbalta, as it helps with the depression, anxiety and also for various pain. She said it varies person to person, but I am so hoping it helps with the all over muscle pain, etc.

Best of luck! It didn't really work for me but I don't know if I had MS then or not. I was prescribed it for fibro. I used to take it but if you ever stop don't quit cold turkey unless you don't mind crazy brain zaps. =)

I was taking that when I first got diagnosed and it did not help at all. My depression got worse to the point that I was having horrible suicidal thoughts. My neuro baker acted me after I explained my side affects. I knew it was because of the medication but I know he felt responsible for me if something happened. Anyways, I changed neuro and now I am taking Carbamazepine. It has been heaven sent. My neuropathic pain and depression have improved greatly. Each person is different. Good luck.
