Hi,
I used to live in South Florida. One of the things I miss the most is my neurologist. His name is Dr Brian Steingo. His phone number is (Phone number can only be seen by the question and answer creators). The fax is (Phone number can only be seen by the question and answer creators). His address is 3540 N Pine Island Rd., Plantation, Florida 33351.

He is in Plantation. That is in the Fort Lauderdale area.

Awesome bedside manners. Dry personality (does not smile that much), but he cares a great deal for his patients. And is always kind.

If you need to send them office notes from a previous neurologist, or anything via fax I would make sure that this is still their fax number.

I hope he’s not too far from you.

Have a blessed weekend.

I go to the MS Comprehensive Care Center of Orlando Health.. Dr. Rosenberg is my doctor, but I see his nurse practitioner, Deborah Chandler. She is wonderful. The best I've seen in my 18 years of dealing with MS. It will take you 6 months or more to get in, most likely. Best of luck!

Since I have been a RN for 29years I am extremely fussy about healthcare providers. I was referred to USF neurologist in Tampa, Fl. By the physicians I work with at the VA that treat MS. Phone: (Phone number can only be seen by the question and answer creators) Derrick Robertson, MD and Dr Janice Maldonado. Derrick is Chief of research and both are personable and easy to talk to. Last visit Janice ordered me MRI of head, neck, and thoracic and as suspected the disease is in my thoracic and that is why I’m having so many walking issues. Thus they are changing treatment regimen to Ocrevus. Hope this helps someone!

Dr. Juan Pizarro-Otero in Riverview is my Neurologist. He is young (44), from Puerto Rico, US-trained, smart, thorough, good personality and people skills. Recommended by my physical therapist. I am impressed by him and I have seen many Neuros in my 60 years with MS. Riverview might be far for you. Good alternative while you're waiting six months for someone closer.
