Does anyone have experience using a Tens machine to stimulate muscle reaction? I've heard good things from people with other pain, but nothing about Tens and it's usefulness to MS patients.

Ive got a tens unit and the shiatus massager. Both are great for helping to relieve some of the muscle pain but not all of it.

Thanks Adam,
I am interested in trying it for foot drop, which I have and, according to The MS Gym, massaging the bottom of the foot is helpful. I just thought using a Tens might make that process a little easier 4-5 times daily. Thanks for your input!

I had speech therapy for a few months where in was put on my throat to to help my swallowing. That is the only time I ever had one used though. I worked pretty well.

@A MyMSTeam Member Don't think I want to rent one that badly! LOL They're only about $30 on Amazon, my sister just got one for neck pain and she says it's great.

TENS is also a suggested option to deal with pain during labor. In some countries you can rent or loan TENS units from midwives. (You probabpy have to be pregnant though 🤔)
