Does Anyone Else Get Brain Fog When They Are Upset?

A MyMSTeam Member asked a question πŸ’

My mood 100% effects my cognition!
If I am upset I can hardly string a sentence together!
If I'm happy I'm all there. Well mostly πŸ˜‹

I'm just wondering if this effects other people in the same way 🀷

Definitely. When I'm tired or upset, my cognition is severely affected. It's a lot better (not perfect mind you) when I'm rested and happy.

Yes that happens to me. I started speech therapy to help with cognitive areas. Helping me learn how to deal with the frustration and they give me activities to help train my brain

I think I notice my "issues" more when I'm angry as my mouth and thoughts aren't quite fast enough for saying what I mean. Like with everything else MS, we adapt and find different ways for doing the things we like to do and being angry was always my jam ;)
