Lately i have been sweating in my underarms way more than normal. Just curious if this could be MS related cuz i cant think of a reason why. Im not noticeably sweaty anywhere else and im not feeling warm or heat sensitive at all. Not concerned just curious!
I have been a major hand sweater since 5th grade. 😑So "weird" sweating is usual for me. 🙄Maybe you have developed a resistance to your typical anti-perspirant...or its one of those weird MS things.
Update: I've been researching MS and lack of temp control. I now feel that I have some autonomic nervous system things not functioning well. I've read that low Vit D and Vit B12 can cause the main issues I have: fatigue, fatigue, fatigue, never the right temp (constantly moving the thermostat 1-3* up or down). I know I'm not low on D and will be asking my PCP for B12 rx for injection. I have had docs help with this and most won't but when I was injecting I was much better!
When I was first diagnosed, one thing I couldn’t help but notice was how the bottom of my feet were sweating. Never had that happen before or since but during that time, it was constant for a couple of weeks.
I never was a sweaty person but before my dx I found that I would get goosebumps when hot and sweat a lot, regardless of the temp. This went on for probably 2 decades before the obvious symptom of Optic Neuritis led to my dx. Once on my DMD, this mostly stopped.
It could be stress sweat. Stress comes in many forms. Maybe try clinical strength deodorant for a while. Sometimes just changing brands helps. If none of those things help, perhaps you could request a dermatologist consult.
