Tension Headache?

A MyMSTeam Member asked a question 💭

Has anyone experienced this tightness feeling on your temples than it would travel to the top of the head or the back of your head? Than it goes away. It comes and goes. I’ve had this before and I believe it’s just a tension headache.

I take either 3 Excedrin or 2-3 Alleve pills for my tension headaches altho' I weigh only 108 lbs. I have a high tolerance level for any meds. I used to get terrible migraines too until I went through menopause.

Yes I have spates of those head pains. Usually one sided, can be the temple to the side and back of head/neck . Other times one sided sinus type pain. I no longer take strong migraine meds, just over the counter Anadin Extra . It’s semi effective. I would say that the head pain over time has been the most debilitating aspect of my health and is worse than other MS related pains.
