Recently (last couple of weeks), I am feeling like my abdomen is kind of numb (simlar to when you get a shot to numb your mouth for dental work). It just feels weird. Has anyone else had this? Is this just part of the "package"? Thanks.

Oh yeah, been there, I have had it a few times in different places but abdomen mostly and it slowly gets better, well mostly, and you get to enjoy hyper sensitivity (maybe). And at least you didn't get the "ms hug". If you are a new sufferer that one can be scary . It gets easier with time

Yes, yes, yes!!!! That is me and it sucks.... It just feels weird. That was one of the symptoms along with my face, neck, lower back, right foot being numb... It is something i still have, never went away but it is not as bad as it was in the being... But i cant stand to have my stomach touched.

That is one of the ways I was DX. I Have numbness belly button down. They can pin point where a lesion is just by where you numbness starts. Just like if you severe the spinal cord at point a. They look at the chart and know exactly will be affected

TY for sharing. This is new for me; I have the times where it feels like your thigh muscle is pulling/tearing when you go to move and all the working parts aren't on board, but this abdomen thing is weird. I noticed you can't feel much when using the bathroom either (sorry, don't mean to be gross). It's hard to explain to others that don't have it...

Thanks for your feedback. I have had the "hug" on and off, but this abdomen thing has been so different. I had not seen much written about it, so answers I've gotten have been much appreciated. There is just so much to this stuff; when I think I kind of got it figured out for me, there's something different. Oh well. Thanks again - I appreciate your time.
