I was on Tysabri for 4-5 years and felt great, but then became JC virus positive with a high number. Ocrevus was next and currently my bloodwork won't work with any meds. In the future tecfidera was mentioned as a possibility. Should I worry about PML?
I've been on Tecfidera for almost 4 years now. I am one of the rare people who experiences ongoing side effects, but I've thankfully found remedies to help me manage those so for me, it's worth staying on it since I've had no new disease activity while on it. I get bloodwork every 6 months to monitor - so far all good. There's a great Tecfidera Facebook page that has been very helpful - if you want to find out more from people on it, it's a great resource. XX
Thank you. Right now lymphocytes too low to go on anything, but I'll keep that in mind.

To me we do what makes I feel better & Tysabri makes me feel better,if it doesn't make you feel better then change, I know I won't, Lot's of Hugs Love & Prayers, My Very Special Friend.
Martha, do you know what your positive number was? Mine was extremely high. I wasn't given an option to stay on Tysabri, the change was immediate. I'm glad it is still working for you. I miss feeling that good!
