Make MS Disappear In It’s ENTIRETY!!!!!!!
Something my neurologist prescribed 2 weeks ago is a medicine for sleeping
He said that with a good sleep I’d be more intellectually sound
This is a rather amazing drug
Not addictive or habit forming, costs about $2 per pill
It’s called Dayvigo (5 mg), and really, since taking this, I get about 7 hours of sleep per night!!
Amazing!
@A MyMSTeam Member I had constipation issues before I even knew I had bladder issues. I was so uncomfortable bringing that to my Neurologist’s attention that he thought I was talking about bladder issues when it was the “other” I thought I had made it clear I was bringing up….so he referred me to a Urologist. Lol All that turned out to be useful, though, after the Urologist did a quick in-office test and discovered I had a Neurogenic. Bladder, so when my bladder was full I didn’t feel like “going” and when it was empty I felt like I had to pee and Right Away! That was in the 1990’s. Then came all the drug prescriptions….none of them helped. About 12 years ago I got up one morning and could not pee At All! Thankfully I had become a patient at the UCSF Women’s Center, so I made a call and was able to be seen in the office, not an WR, almost immediately. The Nurse Practitioner used a catheter and introduced the concept intermittent catheterization and sent me on my way. It was a struggle for me to learn to use catheters, because it really is best to have 2 working hands, and I only have one that has good dexterity, but after many tears and several attempts using different methods and devices and even having a dressing mirror brought into my bathroom and leaned up against the wall so I could see what I was doing, FINALLY I got the hang of it! I have been using catheters now for ten years and it has been life changing! I get two kinds if catheters from Liberator Medical and Medicare and my Medicare Supplement pay for them 100%. I learned on small sized Compact Catheters that look like little green lipstick tubes and fit into my purse or my pocket. I highly recommend that you look into that.
Let us all have good balance
Walking, and full use of my arms. The fatigue, head aches. The full range of pains traveling across my body I can and deal with now minute by minute. Hour after hour. Day to day. Week and month on out.
It's been years I haven't gone a day without some pain to remind me.
Just give me back my arms and legs. And we'll call it even.
