Does Anyone Feel Weaker With Physical Therapy? I Am Trying To Strengthen My Legs But I Feel Worse In A Sense.
I know for me that I only have a limited amount of movement/energy and I definitely plan how I use it efficiently , trying to get the right work/home . Excess exercise/therapy makes me fatigued ,not stronger as the recovery negates any gain.
Find a Physical Therapist or Personal Trainer who will work with you - not overwork you - but recognize your limits.
Like so many things with this disease every minute, every hour, every day, every month is different. I whole heartedly agree that sticking with it and doing what you CAN do that day is better than doing NOTHING. The bummer part of this is that if you give up the fight and slack off it will be that much harder to get back to a somewhat normal state. You got this, one step is better than no steps!
Itll improve with time! TrevaDanielsCa summed it up best with endurance! Start slow and enjoy!
Too much too fast- go slow and you’ll build up endurance. Resting at least a day in between helps too. It helped my fatigue too.
