I know about the headaches that are possible after and highly encourage you too to be horizontal for 24 hrs, as much as possible. If anything happens and the headache would continue, they can do what they call a blood patch. They take some of your blood into a syringe, like a blood draw, and inject it back into the spine. Sorry 2nd procedure, but the blood helps the area that might be leaking spinal fluid after a tap, to provide cells that would help like
clot the area that is leaking. Don't want to scare you, but provide an answer of how the headache could be treated. Expecting things to go just fine, but when they tell you to keep flat in bed for 24 hrs, it reduces any chance for a problem. Again bathroom breaks are okay.

Plan to be horizontal for the whole day following the procedure or you will have the granddaddy of all headaches. Good excuse to binge a show or read a whole book cover to cover in one sitting.

Yes, same here, just lay still during and right after for a while, should be no problem

Don’t be scared. I had it in October. It was nothing like I had anticipated. Just lay still and you’ll barely feel a thing.
