Any recommendations for which kind of vitamins to take for MS and what brands? Heard taking supplements help. Thank you for any help
For Day time Pain, I, take Turmeric Cu. and this also works as a Mood Stabilizer, for Cognitive, I, use LIon's Mane Mushroom, Flaxseed Oil,which lets Me empty out My Bladder in the Morning, Beta Carotene, C, D-3, Magnesium, CoQ10, Probiotic for My Bowels. All of these are VItamins or Herbs.
Nature’s Bounty is the brand I use. I take B12, D3, Magnesium, Fish Oil, C, Potassium. Look them up for the dosage since it depends on your size. I hope that helps😊
@A MyMSTeam Member it sounds like it I think numbness and weird occurrences where some of my first symptoms unfortunately some of the treatments didn't work for me and made me feel very sick I had to completely change my lifestyle and habits you are not alone though there is great people on here you can get great advice from.... I haven't been on any MS treatment for 2 years now and I'm dealing with the numbness right now I think it's a flare up
I take 10,000 iu of Vit D myself. I live in MN, so no real winter sunshine which can be a long period. I have struggled to get my level up and get it checked routinely. The Nature Made D3 gummies are great tasting and I also get part of what I need to take daily in a get tablet.
I also take B12, C, E, Calcium, and B2 at 400mg for my ocular migranes.
It was recommende to stay away from the Vit D be cause I wasn't monitored n it was way too high. But they said to do take B complex, B 12, Zinc, Vit C n Potassium and Magnesium. Please make sure you really need a high dose of Vit D because you can potentially develope VitD toxicity which can break down your bones n limit your calcium levels...which means major bone damage. So have your Dr check your D level before you take high doses...have them checked periodically...its Important to your health.
