Strong doctor support and medical records including MRI that proves you definitely have MS. An attorney is extremely advised. I know there are people who win doing it without an attorney but I strongly advise a disability attorney. The process is long and laws have changed to make it harder to get but don’t give up.

I believe you need a doctor or your doctor to be stating that you are permanently disabled. I have heard that sometimes you need an attorney to help and, that they are good and usually do win the approval. I also think that you don't have to pay up front, they get paid when they win. Check your listings for disability attorney is what I guess they might be called. I think you can call and ask questions or have a free consultation with many attorneys but I am not knowledgeable about this. Ask for references of course.

I also wrote my states Senator. I told them my experience with MS and told them the declined me the first time. Someone from the Senators team was constantly reaching out to the social security disability office and back to me frequently. I was very impressed. So far I got a note saying I'm medically disabled now they are looking at non medical factors... I'm assuming marital status and children... but email your Senator. Maybe that will help?
