- Adults with MS who received the Moderna vaccine may be eligible for a booster depending on personal factors.
- The FDA has approved mix and match boosters, allowing people to receive a booster dose of a different vaccine from their original vaccine.
- Immunocompromised Individuals:
- People with MS on certain disease-modifying therapies (DMTs) may benefit from an additional dose of the vaccine.
- The National Multiple Sclerosis Society shared recommendations for additional vaccine doses for people with MS, noting that some DMTs can reduce responses to a vaccine.

- Gilenya (fingolimod)
- Kesimpta (ofatumumab)
- Lemtrada (alemtuzumab)
- Mayzent (siponimod)
- Ocrevus (ocrelizumab)

I am seeing my neurologist on Monday. I’m gonna make sure he says to get it before I do, but I know he will say definitely get it. I haven’t seen him since Covid started, but I did telehealth about 6 mos ago. I am glad that I can see him now, got stuff to talk about.

I did get the Covid Booster Shot on Tuesday. No side effects exept arm where I received the shot. All who are immunocompromised should get one when available in your state.
