Back in my youth I was a an extreme sponge with knowledge. I have lived with MS since 1981. Now I can barely remember the last sentence I read. Nor can I recite any information I use to know.

First, give yourself a personal high five because you only "recently" noticed cognitive issues. I'm very impressed. I have a few options for you to explore. Tell your neuro about your problems. I know it's a hail Marry but see what they suggest. I know I play a simple word game on my phone and try to exercise during what used to be the work week. The word game makes me remember simple words and that has helped me as has exercise. I don't overly tax myself with the game or the exercise but I say far less hey friend when I speak with people I should remember their names. Both things are shots in the dark but, hey, it's something 🤪

Thank you Jimmy,
Although I did notice this years ago, I was simply trying to BS my way through or just stay very quiet not to sound like an idiot when I spoke.
This is helpful, and I love do love word games. Great idea.

I feel like I’ve regressed mentally, I don’t remember how to just take care of myself and basic tasks.

I understand completely. For me, it's not just memory, I believe my IQ is lower. I just don't think like I used to.
