I always think ‘things could be worse. yes, I walk with a cane. But I’m walking. I don’t have cancer. I’m not on dialysis. I don’t have diabetes. I don’t have Alzheimer’s so the list could go on and of and what I don’t have.
I have MS . I am stronger than my disease. I’m happy every morning when I can get out of bed and walk into the kitchen and get my tea. I really feel your attitude helps with your diagnosis. my glass is half full. Don’t get me wrong I have my bad days, poor me, etc.
I do enjoy this forum. Nice to know, we are not alone. Now if we could just get the pharmaceutical companies To pay attention ;-)

I'm the caregiver of my younger sister Clare. I don't want people confused that I'm some sort of proffesional caregiver. I have taken care of Clare for 9 years. We live together and get along well. I do have a medical Paramedic background so I'm not totally clueless. But I can tell you this MS is crazy. It's diffecult from day to day. Clare is my hero! She doesn't complain and she's always thankful of all.the help I give her! Her MS.could make her mean, but instead Clare tries to make sure she knows I'm appreciated. Great sister!
