I had that about a week ago. I looked it up and found Trigeminal neuralgia (TN). (Basically it’s a damaged jaw nerve) A lot of people with ms have it. I waited a bit before I reached out to my nurse practitioner and it went away. I think it happened to me because I was only chewing on one side because the other was temporarily paralyzed when it went numb. So it was just a habit but once I stop it went away after a day or two. But if it continues to bother I would definitely reach out to someone but I hope you feel better.
