Hi, I started on Tecfidera and now I’m taking Vumerity. Both pill form. When I first started I would get flushing in the face. It was temporary but HOT! After a week or two, it went away. Other than that I haven’t had any side effects. Also haven’t had any relapses since my exacerbation over two years ago. I have been on a strict diet and lots of physical therapy as well which I think has greatly contributed to my doing so well on it. Hope this helps 😎

I take the generic tecfidera. Still dimethyl fumarate(spelling?). I have no side effects. The main ones i hear are flushing stomach ache and hair loss. The flushing and stomach ache can be lessened by taking tylenol an hour before taking tecfidera. Tecfidera seems to work for me.

I took tecfidera for 8 months after being on Rebif for 8 years. It messed me up so much that I went back to Rebif. I am currently taking Ocrevus infusion which is twice a year and much easier to tolerate.
