Ocrevus And Covid

A MyMSTeam Member asked a question 💭

So I’m just wondering if anyone on Ocrevus has had Covid and if so how did you do? Saw my adult daughter on Sunday and on Monday she got a fever and tested positive. So today is day 4 and so far I’m ok. Still worried about it though and my infusion is due in under 2 weeks.

Glad your ok. I wish I could get Evushield. Unfortunately lately my Neurologist seems to have given a lot of his patients to a new NP that doesn’t know much about MS . I think that the Network he is in is hiring new NPs for all their specialists and I’m not to happy about it for specialist care. But I am currently going through the process of getting disability and don’t want to switch yet. Just because I’m not a needy patient doesn’t mean I want to be handed off to a brand new NP who doesn’t have experience with MS patients. I’m fine with it for a PCP but not as my Neurology care. Sorry for the rant lol

I had covid twice. The first time in dec of 21 and if i hadn't been vaccinated i wouldn't be here to type this. I had the next variant in April of this year and it was a bit easier to deal with. Im also an Ocrevus patient. Ive been told get the vaccine either 3 months after treatment or a month before. I all honestly i don't remember why that is. Plenty of information out there. I also got and am scheduled for the evudhield injection where they load you up with antibodies. I think that's wjy my second round of covid wasn't as bad.
