I don't know what it is lately but I've been having trouble injecting myself with glatect using the autoinjector. It keeps getting stuck while I inject and I just got a replacement for it and still got stuck.. I don't know what to do what my options are at this point.. any suggestions or information is welcome.
Take your concerns to your prescribing physician. You should inject in front of him/her or possibly their nursing staff. Hopefully they will be able to resolve what is taking place.

@A MyMSTeam Member: Really good answer, perfect almost.
And on to my answer: Get the nurse to check the equipment, and also maybe choose a different spot? I have had some patients (when I was still a practicing nurse) try injecting in areas where there might be too much or not enough fat. You're aiming for the best area, where there is enough fat to easily inject but not a muscular area, because muscle fibers are designed to be tough and fibrous. It can't hurt to ask. Also, reach out to patient services for the drug manufacturer, see if there is any help in choosing the best areas for their meds. Sometimes you need to adjust the depth of your device, the Copaxone auto injector is just that picky about how deep you want to get the med into you spot. One other thing I can think of is to make sure you are not using too much pressure from your fingers to "pinch" before you inject. You want a little bit of soft fatty tissue between your fingers, but not so much that you are trying to hit a spot that is either too fatty or not fatty enough. And change your sites regularly. I found going between belly, upper back part of your arms, thighs, and butt, not aiming for the same spot, but trying to inject sort of around a 3 inch circle of skin/fat. A different spot each time, moving like going around the clock, seems to work best. I really hope this helps. The meds are great but everyone is different. What works for some may not work for all. But nothing will work if you stop using it because of trouble with the actual injection.
