Growing up in Chicago, can't remember ever being so cold-
I can't imagine that is true. I was just over beside you from 1954 on, and it was...also copious snow amounts. i was IN chicago in 1964 and remember the weather being as hideous as it was at home north of Detroit
Remember, us wheel chair folk don’t move around as much. Without the blood flowing our body gets cold🥶
Born & raised in the Chicago area. It was always bloody cold and snowy. My favorite snowstorm was 1967. The thing about winter back then, is there was no windchill accounting so never too cold to walk to school. And the only reason we got one day off on '67 is cuz the teachers couldn't get there.
When it gets warmer in a few months or later on.
I feel your pain, yes, we Buffaloians survived the blizzard over this past Christmas of 2022. Our low temperature on Friday is 3° and Saturday is 0°. I am afraid to add into the equation the wind chill factor! The sun is shining bright today, not very often seen here during the winter months. I guess I should be happy with what I have as opposed to what I have not! Stay inside and keep warm🥶
