Working with Multiple Sclerosis
I taught and was a school principal before and when I got MS in 2003. I worked until 2020 full-time. Then part time. Now volunteer 2 days a week. Have 2 busy geandsons, 2 and 4, that keep me going. My spasms are the worst after 4pm. Run hard, chill at night.
Hey! My husband had to leave his job to care for me and the children. Then he found a way to supplement his income. He actually help people to get access to legal services no matter their financial status.
I always walk like I’m drunk, it’s so embarrassing to me. I take Meclizine for dizziness. I want to try and work full time because We are struggling with one full time income and mines only being part time.
Had 2 PT jobs. One project just ended. Only 1 now. Some work from home n some travel to household visits. I take Zofran for dizziness n nausea. On 2 different meds for the muscle spasms, jerks n shakes. Some days walk like I'm drunk. Fall once in a while. Was on Disability for about 8 years but couldn't stand not being productive. Went back to work.
