Hey yall! I am "pre-diagnosed" with MS. My MRI of brain shows one lesion in temporal lobe. I have been to neurosurgeon who ordered another MRI in 6 weeks. Has anyone else had issues with the "criteria" for diagnoses? I have MULTIPLE symptoms and have been treated with steroids, muscle relaxers, Vit D, and B12. I recently had an episode of Bells Palsy as well. I feel like all I do is go to the Dr for test after test. Any suggestions?

Yes it was almost a 2 year process for me, i had 2 small lesions on my brain, it wasn't until i got a spinal tap that i was officially diagnosed. I had 6 mri's longest was almost 4 hours. It's a tough road with this disease and talking with those that understand helps, i know it's frustrating it's a process. I'm on my 2nd neurologist, you have to be your own advocate and let your concerns be heard with your doctor i find it helps to write a diary of symptoms so on the day of your appointment you don't leave anything out as sometimes some symptoms aren't present the day of your appointment and i don't know about you but i often forget to mention something if it's not happening in the moment. God bless

Oh man. So I had the same issues although no doctor suspected MS until the last one. Since I was 24, I develop shingles in high stress situations. They thought nothing of it but...why was I so young🚩 Flash forward to 10 years later- developed neuropathy in both feet; they assumed related to shingles.🚩 6 months later, woke up with Bells Palsy.🚩 Given a round of steroids and I was good. 6 months later another doctor visit for what I right may be a UTI (never had one but I felt like I couldn't go)🚩. After it was ruled out as a UTI, this doctor flipped through my chart, read the crap I'd been going through & asked why I hadn't seen a neurologist. Wrote the referral then and there. 3 months later, got a spinal tap and MRI. Less than 2 months later, official diagnosis. 2 months later from that, developed drop foot out of the blue. I think back all the time to why wasn't it caught sooner? Why didn't they investigate more but in the end, I'm where I'm at today and I'm pushing myself. Keep your head up, start doing your own research on meds, diet and triggers. This will help you process & prepare bc I know I had NO IDEA WTH I was doing. Thinking of you & sending good vibes!

I had six back-to-back UTIs. Was treated with antibiotic each time and reinfection came back within days. The only thing that helped me was taking a high dose probiotic, cranberry gummies, and D Mannose pills (all items taken daily) and drinking nearly a gallon of water a day. Doing so helped me manage to kick that cycle of seemingly unending UTIs to the curb!

...I forgot to mention that I have had a constant UTI for about 2 months now. I have taken antibiotics and it helps, but within 3 or 4 days, it comes right back.
