I went through a physical therapist and then a brace specialist/orthotics. I’ve been in a wheelchair but am working on walking again and my old AFO is carbon fiber which is light weight and for that I skipped physical therapy and went directly to the orthotics place. For right now getting out of a chair and walking more I am already working with a PT and I’ll just upgrade what I have so still working w carbon fiber, trimable. Move your insoles on top of the brace so your arches don’t collapse!
