Yes! Absolutely! It is a sign of edema. Does it blanche when pressed? (turns white) Most likely fixed with compression socks. It could be a more serious cardio issue but likely and hopefully, fixed with compression stockings.

When you see that look at the color. Does it turn light and then back to pink or your normal color? I think that is what the check for. If it stays the same color when you press on it then I think that might be more serious.

Ok so if the skin holds the dimple that is indicator of edema. also the swelling.

ok I think I got it backwards. So then it gets dark when you press and then it goes back to your normal and lighter color?
