It sounds like a good idea but I’m in the uk so it would have to be video
I'll settle for Zoom Meetings if that can ever happen🥰
There are many local MS groups that offer that opportunity, and the suggestion kind of ignores the fact that a lot of us have become disabled by ms and can’t travel and can’t even leave our homes. The suggestion reminds me of a NMSS presentation before which pastries and coffee were set out on a table for us attendees. The cups were small, dainty, and hard to hold. My friend, Barbara (RIP) said loudly, “Most of us have ms and you ought to become familiar with the symptoms that many or most of us share, like having trouble holding small cups full of coffee and carrying them back to our seats!”
That sounds like a great idea. Hopefully one day we can make that happen. Physically? Virtually?
WhatThere are so many of us around the world, there maybe a place somewhere that can accommodate everyone. Wheel chair, walker, airplanes are not accessible to accommodate? Any place or for a convention would need to be accessible for all. If it's for us all it should be catered to us all. We all look different, and represent MS differently but at the same time we all matter. LizColpoys some people would have to walk the life in a MS persons shoes to really understand. If they talked to different Ms people about certain challenges, then they would know what to expect before hosting a event.
Maybe the people that are to far or can't travel alive feed could be set up. So they can see us and we can see and talk to them, while at the convention. Just a thought and some ideas.
