Does anyone think problems in your mouth like gum diseases has anything to do with your ms?
No, I know several with gum disease and they don’t have MS. You actually need to have a better mouth, teeth, gum , tongue hygiene
The microbiome 🦠 in the mouth is in need of help when that’s where it all starts! Gut brain axis! Ic your not absorbing your nutrition you’re body loads up on inflammation Very important to be absorbing and we all know MS depletes vitamin D and other essential nutrients! My breakfast 😋
I have read that autoimmune diseases can cause issues with your teeth and gums. I have also read that that an autoimmune disease can cause a domino effect in your body resulting in more autoimmune diseases. I personally have 5 (known) autoimmune diseases and bleeding gums.
Thanks for the thoughtful insight
Well I know for a fact that Sjogren's Syndrome does affect your mouth, gums, tongue, cheeks and teeth. It causes early tooth decay, bleeding gums, mouth ulcers....and a host of other issues
