All the time. At least 1-2 times a night. I was prescribed Myrbetriq before my MS diagnosis. My neurologist sent me to a urologist who doubled the Myrbetriq. The jury is still out on whether the Myrbetriq actually helps as I still wake up the same amount of times at night as with the lower dose. He also prescribed Fesoterodine. I could not tolerate the one pill I did take. The urologist referred me to another urologist because he is hospital based and he wanted a doctor in the community to look after me. That was 5 months ago. I’m still waiting for my appointment. I contacted the new doctor’s office to inquire about my appointment and was told I would be contacted in the new year when my appointment would be.

The hospital urologist suggested Botox might help.

Yes, All the time. I feel my issue is more from nerve damage than a flare up since it is all the time. It was so bad that My niece got me a tiara and calls me Princess Potty. There were times I would have to go to the bathroom every 10 minutes. I couldn’t even do a sleep study because my nighttime bathroom habits ruined the study. My Neurologist tried me on Oxybutin, but, it gave me such nasty headaches that made me nauseous. My neurologist then sent me to a Urologist. After a bunch of tests and an ultrasound the Urologist started me on Myrbetriq. It’s not perfect, but it has made a difference. I can now make it through a 2 to 2.5 hour movie without visiting the bathroom and instead or waking up 8 to 10 times a night to go I am now only getting up 2 to 4 times a night. Good luck in your pursuit for assistance.

I make frequent bathroom trips but I feel like it happens when I take the Plegridy injection every 14 days for the MS and can go eight time at night I was first on the oxybutin and it worked a little and then the urogyn put me on myrbetriq which helped a lot but now since one year of being on it I m back to urinating a lot only at night.
