Relapsing Remitting M.S.
I just try to be as relaxed as possible; piped in music helps. For muscle cramps and or spasticity I'll sometimes use an electric massager to relax usually my shoulders. At night I'll sometimes apply a "Salonpas" patch which does help me get to sleep quickly.
yes, during my spinal MRI I developed a neck cramp that evolved into excruciating pain forcing me to end the MRI. Upon returning the next week for another try, my left leg went into wild spastic movements violently shaking. The spasticity was /is linked to MS. Luckily the 3rd attempt I was put on lorazepam which alleviated any problems fOR spinal MRI and then Brain MRI
Oh goodness, so it does happen and I'm not alone. Thanks for the Lorazapam tip. I plan to request meds so I can finish M.R.I., with contrast.
I don't recall experiencing pain during any of my MRI's; seems like I may have taken a nap during my first even with the LOUDness the MRI machine made then. First MRI for me was probably 2000.
