I ask this due to a lot of times when others ask how are you doing we may say I’m good or I’m okay but is this a true answer? I know that sometimes I exaggerate the truth about my feelings and was just wondering if you all do the same. Come on out and spill it….we are family and are here for each other.

Members were asked how they were really doing, and the thread became a heartfelt outpouring of honesty, with many sharing that they usually say 'I'm fine' or 'I'm okay' to protect others from worry, even when living with daily pain, fatigue, cognitive struggles, and emotional hardship. Several members shared personal challenges including worsening symptoms, caregiver stress, isolation, financial strain, and difficult family situations, while others found strength through faith, diet changes, exercise, supportive spouses, and community connection. A recurring theme was the comfort of having a safe space to be truly honest, with many expressing that this community feels like family where real feelings can finally be shared.

After twenty years, ive learned to feel good while dealing with ms. It never goes away, so now i focus hard on the small things that give me way more joy than they used to. I try to stay positive, try to feel fine, and yes, some days i fake it.

I feel good today. But on my days I use reverse psychology on myself. I keep telling myself that I don't feel bad and I don't feel no pain. I also tell myself that there are others that are worse off and I don't need to complain or dwell on it. Mind you sometimes it's hard to do that. Plus I don't trust Drs or hospitals and I refuse to take medication. I like to stick to the old ways and Native American remedies.

I always say,”I’m hanging in there” or at church,”I’m here!” But was always glad I went!

Hope you feel better! Not much worse than getting sick and having ms.
