Guess I got lucky with my STD and LTD through the company, never got denials though they made me jump through hoops like a show dog. I also got SSDI on the first try too but Drs were good with documentation and support and utilized Allsup for the application for SSDI and they were on top of everything.

You are absolutely right DrDaIe. The way I feel is if I payed into it, then show me the money.

I was.denied first.time and then was given $1850 second time after reapplying. Then they closed case. I was recognized as permanently disabled by my neurologist. I of course appealed again. They responded with some B/S wanting my neurologist to mark three out of seven ADL's I need a personal assistance with or they will not even look at my other claim for specified event. Seems like according to them I either have to be bed ridden- in a wheelchair or nursing home. I really don't think they understand how MS affects people differently. I did appreciate the $1850.but when that's all the income you've had in two months with what little was left in account, makes you realize things are definitely going to be different. Anyway they pissed me off so who else to vent to other than my MS family.
