I don't feel unwell every day but certainly don't feel well like I used to.

Hi @A MyMSTeam Member, your more than welcome for the hug and not offended as was just clarifying as the comment about Drs was right after my comment trying to lend insight. Sadly I don't believe we will find a magic pill that cures everyone's MS, because I believe MS is not a single disease with a single cause, and until the medical and scientific community stop lumping in multiple diseases with a similar pathology all under the title MS, progress will be extremely slow. (For Ex:NMO used to be just called aggressive MS, until they discovered the AQP4 water channel on astrocytes was being targeted by an antibody at Mayo Clinic. (not oligodendrocytes or myelin) and 15 years later, there are 5 medications to treat NMOSD and it is its own disease.) Everyone's MS is so different per the individual, it makes more sense that it likely is multiple diseases with multiple causes, and until they can pinpoint down what causes one person to have RRMS, PPMS, and how each disease can be different in different individuals (like aggressive in one and benign in another) they are throwing the kitchen sink at it and hoping its enough to slow it down. Medicine and science will figure it out but sadly, its a slow process as I found out from being a researcher. Always hopeful even when frustrated.

BTW, I'm acknowledged in the paper that discovered the AQP4 water channel was being targeted, for providing the astrocytes that helped with the study LOL. So kinda know a bit about this

I'm so sorry to hear about your diagnosis. Lindamck this is not normal for other people but for us MSrs it is unfortunately pretty much a daily thing. Everyday we seem to get handed another symptom, problem, it's never ending. I'm a PPMS patient diagnosed 20+ yrs ago and it went undiagnosed for the Dr. figures at least 20 yrs prior.
