I sometimes type a long answer, then lose it. Fall back on often used shortcuts, Once you've typed a fair bit - Ctrl A - highlights all you've done, then Ctrl C, will copy what's highlighted, then if you lose it, place the cursor again and Ctrl V will paste all you've copied back again. - Try it. Highlight what you don't want, Ctrl X deletes it. Ctrl Z will often undo the last step if you really muck it up, don't rely on that one. Ctrl A, C and V will work every time. ๐
