I was very fortunate to be approved first time, about 8 months, however, my nephew took over 4 years with several denials. For some reason they don't think a younger person can be permanently disabled.😖

Yes, but it helps if one is older and has a lot of medical documentation to support it.

I filed and had in less than a year. Took 2 years for medical to kick in though.
